Launch your Office apps, whether installed on your PC or the free Office Online apps. Install the Office apps on your computer or mobile device, and confirm you have the latest versions. Get back to all your Office documents, regardless of where they’re stored, including Word documents, Excel workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, OneNote notebooks, Visio drawings, and Sways.
It’s now available to Windows Insiders (Fast) and will roll out to all Windows 10 users soon. The app itself is free and it can be used with any Office 365 subscription, Office 2019, Office 2016, or Office Online—the free web-based version of Office for consumers.
When you update it, a second app is installed called ‘My Office’ on your system. If you try to uninstall ‘Get Office’, it will not.
Just search for “Office” in the search bar of the Windows start menu to open it. The app can also be downloaded from the Microsoft Store if needed.

Microsoft has rolled out a new, free Windows 10 ($150 at Amazon) app directed toward anyone who uses its Office suite, either the paid or free version.
Check if you’ve Microsoft Office listed there. If it is in the list of installed programs then select the entry and then select Modify.

First make sure that you haven’t just lost the shortcuts for yor Office programs. If you click the Start button in Windows 10 and then start typing winword, you should see Word in the list of search results.
